This publication is a 200-pages photographic book available in two versions (FR/DE or EN/ES). It introduces you the fascinating world of Kené and shows you beautiful hand-drawn Kené designs, portraits and testimonies of the Shipibo-Konibo artists.

The first part of this book introduces you to the fascinating universe of Kené through reflections based on the indigenous cosmovision written by Shipibo-Konibo masters. The second part tells the story of how COVID-19 affected the community, leading to new ways of thriving together. The third part features 30 hand-drawn Kené designs, portraits and testimonies of the artists. The last part presents the indigenous photographer, David Díaz, and his vision of photography as portrait of memories.
